We are delighted to announce that one of our brilliant young collaborators, Valerie Theuns (CNRS), currently preparing a PhD at the University of Lille, has been awarded the Best Poster Prize at the GECat 2024 conference in Hendaye, France.
Valerie’s outstanding work, titled “The road to new SOFC electrode materials by studying novel BaTiO3-derived samples,” has garnered recognition. Her poster presents a selection of results that pave the way for turning non-active (but non-critical) materials like BaTiO3 into redox-active phases by varying the composition and promoting the formation of new minority phases.
The award, granted by the GECat Gold sponsor Micromeritics, was presented by Mr. Pascal Szitas. This accolade highlights Valerie’s exceptional research and underscores the innovative strides made within the KNOWSKITE-X project.
Congratulations to Valerie Theuns for this well-deserved recognition! We are proud of her achievements and look forward to more groundbreaking contributions from our team.
