KNOWSKITE-X was represented at the 10th Tokyo Conference on Advanced Catalytic Science and Technology (TOCAT10), one of the world’s most prestigious international conferences in the field of catalysis, held in Tokyo, Japan.
Elise Berrier (University of Lille, Project Coordinator) presented results on the in situ investigation of model perovskite-based electrodes under redox excitation — a key contribution to understanding the real-time electrochemical behavior of the materials at the core of KNOWSKITE-X’s research.
Jean-François Paul (University of Lille) presented a poster on the ab initio modelling of an LSCF electrode surface using the grand canonical approach — a particularly original methodology in the field of computational modelling of electrode materials.
Both presentations were well received by the international scientific community, sparking promising new contacts and exchanges with researchers working on related challenges in catalysis and sustainable energy.
TOCAT, organized by the Catalysis Society of Japan, has been a landmark international conference since 1990 and brings together leading scientists from academia and industry across the globe. KNOWSKITE-X’s participation underlines the project’s growing visibility at the international level as it enters its final phase.
