On September 14, 2025, Prof. Antonella Glisenti from the University of Padua (UNIPD) conducted advanced measurements at the Diamond Light Source Synchrotron in Didcot, UK, as part of the KNOWSKITE-X project.
The experimental session focused on UNIPD’s proposed samples, using Near Ambient Pressure X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (NAP-XPS) to investigate the exsolution reaction, a key process in developing high-performance electrode materials for sustainable energy technologies.
This hands-on research at one of Europe’s leading synchrotron facilities marks an important step in KNOWSKITE-X’s mission to combine experimental insight with knowledge-driven design. Prof. Glisenti also shared photos from the visit, capturing both the instrumentation and the atmosphere of the facility.
These results will contribute to the project’s broader goals of optimizing perovskite-based materials for reversible Chemicals-to-Power devices.
